Applying Frontline Plus Correctly
It is absolutely imperative that it is only ever applied directly to the skin. This means parting the fur right down to the skin and then squeezing the tube straight on to the skin. It will not work if it goes directly on to the fur so be careful that you do not do this. You want it to go on the skin and nowhere else.
The best place to apply is directly above the shoulder blades. This will mean that there is no possibility of it being licked which we absolutely do not want.
Sometimes larger animals bodies have a hard time evenly distributing the frontline plus and this is why you may wish to apply placing half the contents in a separate spot. Try half as previously mentioned and the rest above the hind legs. Try to ensure that again it is where they cannot get at it to lick it.
If you try this you should find that it will be much more effective and will at the very least get to work an awful lot faster, especially if you have a large Dog.
